Project details
This fine Queen Anne home in rural Suffolk, was transported with style and consideration to the original period features, to create a beautiful modern family living space.
The brief was to design discrete layered lighting scheme to incorporate pragmatic lighting for working in, whilst highlighting the architectural features and artwork to enable a variety of scenes.
Because of the clean lines and stylish simplicity of the kitchen, we felt the aesthetics of the light fittings was equally as important to work in harmony. We used fine ceramic , contemporary Italian designed downlights that set the light source deep, so the ceiling remains seemless.
We extended this look and used directional downlights with a high CRI to bring the true colours of the artwork to life through LED.
RAKO Lighting Control enabled all the open plan space to work together in a sequence of settings the client could control via their smart devices.
